Sometimes it can be good to take a bit of a step back, to watch how to take steps forward. Since the last post have gone through a job change as well as continually exploring ways to expand our reach thus the several months’ delay in posting. So with that, let’s get back in gear, by introducing our new gear from Merch by Amazon! Fans of our Facebook Page have gotten glimpses of this already, so make sure to like our page if you haven't already to make sure you don't miss out, especially on quick deals and news as well as following us on Twitter!
Merch by Amazon
One of the ways we have been exploring expanding our reach is through a program called Merch by Amazon. It’s a great program for being able to design clothing with very little overhead. Of course the challenge is that the marketplace for this is vast. The benefit is that customers can still buy through Amazon, and if they are a Prime Member, get two day shipping on all products. If you’re not a Prime Member, be sure to check it out and get a 30 day free trial to see what you think. It has certainly paid for itself many times over for us.
As I began to think of even what type of design I could use or should put on a shirt, I kept coming back to the symbol of the anchor. To me, being anchored has always meant feeling grounded or centered in life. With all of the back and forth going on in the country as well, regardless of what side of the political aisle you might fall, I also kept thinking of the phrase “love conquers all.” Too frequently we let egos get in the way, which can lead to all of the negativity going on that all too frequently gains our attention spans. Thus, “Love Anchors All” and “Anchored in Love” were born.
While they can certainly make great wedding, engagement or even anniversary gifts, our goal is to convey a positive message, and should you choose to purchase, we thank you, and hope that it can help brighten someone’s day!
Having the extra time off has also allowed me to pursue additional entrepreneurial avenues, such as learning about selling items on Amazon via the FBA program. The largest help has been that of the Amazon Boot Camp via The Selling Family.
The premise of the general business model is one called retail arbitrage. Basically, you buys items from other retails at low prices and then resell them on Amazon at a higher price. Generally going the FBA route is the way to go, as any items you send to Amazon to be resold become Prime eligible. And we’ve all been there right? "Yes, it would be easier to go to the store and get that tube of toothpaste. But it’s so much easier to just get a bundle of four of them and it gets there in two days!" you tell yourself. Thus far we’ve been fairly successful and continue to explore expanding this further.
Overall, the ultimate goal of Script-Notes will still be to continue to spend time, to save you time and money, be it by linking to the latest news, deals, how to save money shopping, and anything else deemed to be found interesting. Stay tuned, as we have even more in the pipeline! Also, be sure to check out our Opportunities page again if you haven't been there in awhile!
Thank you for your continued support, and let’s keep marching on into April!
