You may already be interested in Amazon, but did you know you sell on Amazon? Specifically, Amazon’s Fulfillment program, otherwise known as Amazon FBA?
Well, you can. It is certainly a lot easier than you think, however, there can be a bit of a learning curve for some. If you’re already familiar with the nuances of selling on eBay, then you may pick it up quite easily. However, if you’re looking to perhaps make an investment into your education of selling on Amazon, this week, there is an EXTREMELY valuable offer going on that ends June 19th! Read on!
Amazon continues to grow and expand, offering us many ways to find our gifts for our loved ones, save money on groceries, as well as making our own merchandise. However the tried and true method many have found success with, is selling goods on Amazon, be it their own, or through various arbitrage methods, such as which Jessica Larew is famous for perfecting.
How To Sell on Amazon – Meet The Selling Family!
Jessica Larew has always been a bit of a mainstay when it comes to coaching others in selling on Amazon. Per their website, it was learning to sell items on Amazon that really helped turn their family’s finances and future around, and even allowed her husband to quit his job and work full time at home:
If you had told me back in 2008 that losing my job would be the best thing to ever happen to me, I would have said you were crazy…Through a bunch of tears and anger! You see, I had big plans for “climbing the corporate ladder” and making good money as someone who was in charge. But, the economy had a different plan, and working in the housing industry left me in a position that could be done without.
I got let go from my job, and decided that would be the last time someone else was in charge of my financial future. Now, at this point in life, I have been an entrepreneur for more years of my life than I was an employee. AMEN
Losing my job, really gave Cliff and I a chance to decide what was really important in life, and how we were going to move forward. So, we decided that I would work from home, we would start a family, and we would let go of the house we had bought during the housing BOOM (that had declined in price more than 50%).
Things changed quickly as we got pregnant right after starting to try and Cliff quit his job to come work from home with me less than a year after I started selling on Amazon.
During the foreclosure process (which takes For.ever) we were able to tighten up our budget, and save up some money. So, when the process was finally over, our business had actually started booming, and we had a good amount of money in savings.
We were able to basically start our lives over! We were working for ourselves, making good money, and showing our son what it was like to work together as a family.
Sound like something you might be interested in? Keep going!
That’s Great! But What’s The Deal?
Well, to really get sellers to be on the fast track, Jessica was able to partner with some of the top sellers in the Amazon selling world to be able to offer a huge bundle for $97 ending June 19th, that would normally well cost over $1000 for everything being charged. This is over 90% off the regular purchase price, if everything was purchased separately.
I have personally used some of these myself, so if you should have any questions, let me know!

Whole Foods, which, while offering healthy foods, has sometimes gone by the moniker, “Whole Paycheck.” In a bit of a price reprieve, Amazon, which purchased Whole Foods last year, is offering its Prime members an additional 10% off sale items when they shop at Whole Foods.
Whole Foods Discounts To Start in Florida
It is expected that the new discounts will start in Florida and expand nationwide later this summer after a brief test. Prime members will receive the additional discount on hundreds of products throughout the stores.
Earlier this year, the companies launched free two-hour delivery on Whole Foods groceries in 10 test cities, through Amazon's Prime Now service. Amazon is expecting to expand that offering later this year. Eligible Prime members also receive 5% back on Whole Foods purchases when using the Amazon Prime Visa card.
Is Whole Foods Just The Start?
As CNN Money notes, the situation will ultimately be a win-win for Amazon. The goal actually appears to be quite simple. Amazon wants to sign up more Prime members, but wants to get more Prime members into Whole Foods. "Maybe grocery is to Amazon in the next decade what books was in the '90s," said Michael Pachter, an analyst at Wedbush. With more than 100 million Amazon Prime subscribers around the world, at least 60 million subscribers are in the United States, Pachter estimated.
One would think that with such a large amount of customers, Amazon would have a huge cut of the market. However, it’s a small cut when it comes to groceries.
Right now, Whole Foods accounts for about 2% of US grocery sales, Pachter said. That leaves a ton of room for growth.
"Amazon has a relationship with [about 60 million households] in the US, and [these people] are definitely big consumers," Pachter said. "Why not drive their traffic into Whole Foods?"
In addition to the aforementioned 10 percent discount, Jim Fosina, CEO of Fosina Marketing Group, a marketing firm for subscription services, thinks the benefits will likely continue for grocery shoppers.
"I think you're going to see much more of Amazon using Whole Foods to become the dominant provider of grocery," he said.
Similarly how Target has done with their redCard, giving customers the option to save 5% on all purchases with a debit or credit card option, Amazon is doing the same with their Prime membership. If you shop at Whole Foods, it becomes less sensible to do so without Prime.
"Amazon's goal is to increase Prime membership," according to Scott Neslin, a marketing professor at Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business. "They believe this locks in the customer and induces them to buy more from Amazon."
The increasing uptick of Whole Foods discounts should only help to boost Prime's value.
"At some point, the Amazon Prime membership may become as critical to the consumer as their cell phone and data plan," says Fosina. "That's what I believe Amazon is aspiring towards."
The Echo Dot has [easyazon_link identifier="B077JFMVGP" locale="US" tag="scriptnotes00-20" localize="y"]now made its way[/easyazon_link] to your kids' room. Well, it may have already been there, but now Amazon is marketing it with colorful new bumpers and software updates.
Echo Dot: Premium Edition?
On the surface, aside from the colorful case, it would appear that there's "not much to see here." However, Amazon was able to find some items to help justify the new premium.
From a hardware perspective, there’s not really a lot different here. The Echo Dot Kids Edition is essentially a standard Echo Dot, with a color bumper to help it withstand your standard kid jostling and the same “two-year worry-free guarantee” the company introduced on its kids’ Fire Tablets. That means it’s covered for accidental and intentional breakage, should the little one take the thing apart out of curiosity.
At $80, it’s a $30 premium over the standard Dot. That price jump is largely due to the software included herein, making the device a bundle of sorts. It covers two years of FreeTime Unlimited— which includes a new premium version of the company’s smart assistant built for kids. That includes a bunch of child-friendly content, including 300 Audible books, an ad-free version of iHeartRadio Family and skills and content from the likes of Disney and National Geographic. Amazon’s also partnered with Disney and Nickelodeon on alarms, so kids can get woken up by the likes of Coco each morning.
Like the free version of FreeTime, it also includes a number of parental controls that can be adjusted directly from the Alexa app, similar to what the company has already rolled out on the tablet side of things. Parents can adjust time limits, filter out explicit content and review their kids’ Alexa activity from the new parental dashboard. The Dot also features the new intercom functionality rolled out from Alexa, but disables the ability to call Echos outside of the home network.
However, there aren't any new privacy features that are built into the hardware. There is still the mute button and parents can also prevent the device from answering questions.
For those who are interested, the [easyazon_link identifier="B077JFMVGP" locale="US" tag="scriptnotes00-20" localize="y"]Echo Dot Kids Edition[/easyazon_link] is available for pre-order today and will start shipping on May 9.

While Apple's HomePod is struggling to keep up with Amazon's Echo, Amazon may already be on to the next "smart" product in the technology world. Amazon Robots. First it was the Kindle, allowing users to put their reading library, all on one digital device, eliminating the need to lug books around. Then came the Echo, with families across the globe setting multiple timers, while preparing various stages of that evening's dinner. And now?
According to Mark Gurman and Brad Stone, reporting for Bloomberg:
The retail and cloud computing giant has embarked on an ambitious, top-secret plan to build a domestic robot, according to people familiar with the plans. Codenamed “Vesta,” after the Roman goddess of the hearth, home and family, the project is overseen by Gregg Zehr, who runs Amazon’s Lab126 hardware research and development division based in Sunnyvale, California. Lab126 is responsible for Amazon devices such as the Echo speakers, Fire TV set-top-boxes, Fire tablets and the ill-fated Fire Phone.
The Vesta project originated a few years ago, but this year Amazon began to aggressively ramp up hiring. There are dozens of listings on the Lab 126 Jobs page for openings like “Software Engineer, Robotics” and “Principle Sensors Engineer.” People briefed on the plan say the company hopes to begin seeding the robots in employees’ homes by the end of this year, and potentially with consumers as early as 2019, though the timeline could change, and Amazon hardware projects are sometimes killed during gestation.
An Amazon spokesperson said the company doesn’t comment on “rumors and speculation.”
A Mobile Alexa?
While it remains unclear as to what sort of tasks any Amazon robots might perform, those familiar with the project are envisioning a mobile type of Alexa, accompanying homeowners in spots where they might not already have an Echo device.
Some prototypes of the robots that have come up have advanced cameras as well as computer vision software that allow them to navigate through homes. Self driving cars use similar technology.
These types of robots would differ from Amazon Robotics, a subsidiary of the company in Massachusetts and Germany. That company utilizes robots within Amazon warehouses for moving around goods and had originated as a company named Kiva Systems, that Amazon acquired in 2012 for $775 million.
The ongoing advances in computer vision technology, cameras and artificial intelligence, along with voice activation make it promising for Amazon to be able to bring a potential robot to the marketplace.
It is also estimated that the consumer robot market will be worth about $15 billion a year by 2023, according to Research and Markets, which would be up from about $5.4 billion this year.
One can't help but wonder though, in this day and age of privacy breaches, will customers be willing to allow even more 'smart' technology into the home? We can only hope that any product will be friendly enough like another robot of the future:
