It’s hard enough to come by discounts on Apple products as it is, so 10% off is a pretty good deal. It may be worth sharing this with any friends or family members who might qualify.
Yesterday, Apple launched a new online store in the United States that’s set up to provide a 10 percent discount on select products to both active military and veterans, as well as members of their households.
For example, with the discount, the iPhone XS is priced starting at $899. The iPhone XR is available starting at $674. Normally, these phones are priced at $999 and $749, respectively, in Apple's standard online store.
Discounts are also available on iPhones, Macs, Apple Watch models, iPads, the Apple TV, HomePod, AirPods, and accessories like cases, Apple Watch bands, and even third-party items that include speakers, drones, and more.
Apple mentioned the below to TechCrunch:
At Apple we are deeply grateful to the men and women of our armed forces. We’re proud to offer active military and veterans a new dedicated online store with special pricing as an expression of our gratitude for their brave service.
While Apple has always offered educational discounts for students, teachers, and faculty members, as well as discounted pricing for military and federal employees, the 10 percent discount is a first in that it exceeds what’s offered via the educational store.
